there is something dreadfully wrong.

There is something dreadfully wrong with a setup where people can't feed and house themselves doing what they love to do.

There is something dreadfully wrong with a world where people loving what they do is the exception, not the rule.

I'd like to make it a little easier for people to do what they love to do, to make such people more commonplace in the world.

I plan to do this by helping individuals build beautiful lives.  And by helping change the rules of the game; the setup, the architecture of the world we live in.

I have a particularly soft spot for creators, discoverers.  People who live to create, who create to live.  Scientists, artists, designers, engineers, architects, healers, dreamers.

trying to capture the honest, human perspective on life's work :)

something so beautiful, so sweet, that someone said to me:

"Thank you dear friend for the facebook post! Your generous support for my work means so much to me. I like that you are trying to capture the honest, human perspective on lifes work. I certainly dont have my stuff all fiigured out and im not the most articulate at times but maybe someone will relate to that. Im going to write down some of my thoughts now. Wed anytime can be good."

a life worth living

once upon a time there was a man
he loved to create, to crack, to solve
he tried all the columns
the public sector
the academe
then the commercial
he found no home
he found no haven
for his art, his science
his creation
he found himself
tied and bound
to a life
bereft of passion
bereft of love
for himself
for what he was doing
for the institutions
he was bound to
he set about
freeing himself
from the shackles
that bound him
and set about
on the search for
and the construction of
a life
worth living.
