Maestro little step towards homework was made - thank you for the " kick" in the butt !

Love you , Lou - i looked up from my menial filing tasks the other day, and there you were, filling my boss Dan's day with much needed lightness and cheer - thanks, dude ! ! !
google aaron swartz and get your writing out from behind a pay wall. pls. :)

Great to see you, too, amigo. Normally I'd say "pay up, sucker" but since you are a true hippie, I'll say, "just go to Outsideonline.com, whatever's not there I'll email you about."

well, you assume i'm very cool, which is generous, and i appreciate it. your profile is extremely cryptic, albeit lyrical. i'm i'm pretty sure you might be making some of it up, which i have no issue with, but i'm curious which parts.

Pippy would not lie to you...So you know her words are true.

You have complicated your world
in such a way that freedom is all elusive
perhaps even unlikely
impossible, improbable
Your world would further bind me
I do not wish a life on the lam
I do not wish another man
whose ex cannot/will not let go
Been there, done that
end of that show...
You may be willing
excited and ready
to latch onto pippie
a symbol of steady
and free as she
may seem to be
Is locked away
in her own tower
of psyche
we think too much
when we're alone
and our thoughts become
our home
home to worry
home to hope
home to beseaching
the gods to release
us from our self imposed cells
but only you can free yourself
Turn yourself in
make arrangements
to pay your dues
Moral values at what cost?
I know it doesn't seem right
or just to bust your trust
to pay the undeserving
who will reduce it to dust
but you must
find a way to free
yourself from this prison
which chases you down
keeps you away
From the holy land in Pa
Freedom is the most precious
feeling known to man
Just ask Naz's resident biker
Scott Slingerland...
He'll tell you ShriLankans
Get their water from a tower
Preservation means sacrifice
rationing your showers
You sacrifice daily
your freedom--for what?
For principal which no corporation
will back you on
no Indian nation
will rise up for the homeless
the soapboxing is a waste
of your precious breath
if there's no one to listen
They all turn a deaf
ear
Don't rock the boat
or that'll be you by next year
In that cardboard box
In the alley way
With the dumpster
your bounty
as they sit pretty in their tower
and get paid ridiculous amounts of cash
to waste away the hours
Unless you can assemble
a righteous parade
to demonstrate and inform
to raise a proverbial stench
that will burn
in their corporate nostrils
You are singing to the choir
of the church of
don't wanna get involved...
Pippy would not lie to you
So you know her words
are true
and though you both
sing the blues
Your shade is
a darker hue
so what are you
gonna do?

You have a lot to do with the love I have for this dude. He first came into the store when we were having a crazy rant session, and he was the only guy who did not look at the two of us as if we were mad people (which we probably are). That screams special!

i am touched and honored. nothing could please me more, truly. <3

and i am very happy for you (and him) too!!
bf/gf action at its best.
and long live crazy rant sessions!!

Crazy rant sessioners, unite!

I can tease multiple layers of meaning out of a jelly donut. priceless! peace with mad respect, hippie lou

"i could not do without the sensation of human touch...i cannot lie, it is intoxicating." I'm right with you on that -- you speak the truth.

And thank you.
Blue skies to you.

Lou, I just realized that I had a dream about you last night. I was visiting you at your apartment, and you gave me lots of ice cream. There was more to it that I don't remember. Seems like it had a sci-fi element to it. Lou, I know you are often looking for a place to crash. If I return to be a tour guide, I will be looking for a place also. Do you think we might be able to help each other?

can try to help you...trying to get a few more stops on the underground railroad, but it's taking form...
very excited about it...
just let me know when you expect to come in...

I do wish you all the best in your search!

Because I’m upfront and honest, you should know that I just turned 52. I realize those are just words, but I changed my age for search purposes. Besides, I can prove I don't look anywhere near my age in person (you won't be disappointed) and I’m also a late bloomer with a very young spirit. My field is dominated by people much younger, so I feel fortunate to be seen as a peer and a mentor.

yours is an interesting approach...many people say i look like i'm in my late 30's/early 40's, and i realize 50 is a cutoff in a lot of searches, but, oh well. i'm 50! fewer hits but the ones that do are people i like. peace and mad respect, hippie lou

Who is to argue with whatever works for them? In fact, I met someone very special who happens to be my age and loves the fact that I'm 52. And although we haven't deleted our profiles yet (it is just too early), I'm not interested in dating other people. So if you look really young for your age, it's a good thing. It just so happens the man I'm dating also looks incredibly young for his age. That takes care of initial attraction and then hopefully, there's more to the connection. It's working for me, that's all I know!

I do wish you all the best in your search!
